Undergraduate : B.Sc.

Shriram Mahila Vidnyan Mahavidyalaya, Paniv in 2014 on non- grant basis under the flagship of Shriram Shikshan Sanstha, Paniv at the inception only  31 girls were admitted in B.Sc. I through intake capacity sanctioned was 120.  This College is affiliated to Shreemati Nathibai Damodar Thackersey Women’s University, Mumbai which dedicated for women’s education. Later on student strength increased with continuation of B.Sc. II and B. Sc. III classes with chemistry as a principle subject and Botany and Zoology as a subsidiary subjects. At present under graduate student strength is 300 [Recognizing the need of PG education of girls M.Sc.(Analytical Chemistry) program] for achieving the excellence in academics, well equipped laboratories and IT enabled classrooms are provided. The syllabus approved by the University implemented. Curricular, Co-curricular and Extracurricular activities are conducted as preplanned academics calendar and the daily time table. Teachers satisfactorily complete the syllabus allotted to term as per planning. Intermittently departmental meetings are held to review the completion of activities. 

Teachers use traditional as well as ICT enabled methods of teaching so as to make learning joyful. Students are exposed to experiential learning also by organizing study tours, field visits and industrial visits. Students involvement in participatory learning is assured through seminars, group discussion. To have different learning experience guest lectures of expert persons are organized.

To keep abreast with current happenings in the subject and research, teachers actively participate in conferences, seminars and workshops. Teachers are paid to Traveling allowance, Daily allowance and registrations fees. Teachers are encouraged to participate in Faculty a development program which ultimately benefits the students.

For holistic development capacities building different programs are organized through National Service Scheme, Sports and cultural committees. Students are encouraged to participate in various activities organized by other institutes.

Semester pattern of examination is adopted as per university directions. Students are continuously assessed through internal evaluation. Results of university exam are excellent.

To enhance job potential of students, two short term skill based add on certificate courses each of two credits have been implement from this year. Teachers and non-teaching staff play parental role in safety, care and progress of students. Therefore, parents of students are sure about quality education and safety of their daughters.
