About Library
The Library of Shriram Mahila Vidnyan Mahavidyalaya, Paniv was established in Year 2014.in Main buildingCollege constructed well-furnished, specious well ventilated library.At Present College library is Shifted to in Annex building of college.College library has open access to over 1500 Printed Books of all subjects, Journals, Magazines, Journals, Project Reports and Newspapers. The library shall function during the following except holidays: Monday to Saturday 09:15 am to 04.30 pm. A reading hall well-furnished having seating capacityof50 students is available. Library has subscribed newspaper Marathi, so that students can read as per their comfort. College library provide syllabus and question papers of all subjects. College has provided separate two computers to library with high speed internet facility.

Circulation Section
- Weekly two Books are issued to all the admitted Students
- Three Books are issued to the all Staff of the College.
- One Text Book or one other book is issued to each student library ID/identity cards for seven days
- Books required for preparation of MPSC, UPSC, NET/SET, Banking and other Competitive Examinations . are available in the Library.
Digital Library
College has well-furnished computer lab equipped with systems and latest software and Internet facility is provided to all computers with high speed broadband internet connectivity.

Library Software
College Library is using Software for Library administration work. For Library admin works of are called “AUTOLIB 2.0’’is used since last 1.5 years.

Rule and Regulations
- Readers should maintain strict silence in the Library as well as in reading hall.
- Every student must carry his /her identity card and produce whenever demanded during every transaction.
- Use of Mobile phones strictly prohibited Library premises.
- Library visitors are not allowed to carry foods/drinks inside the reading hall.
- Library barcode is non-transferable.
- Readers are not allowed to bring their personal books or any printed material inside the Library.
- Personal belongings like bags (laptop, shoulder, sling), umbrellas, etc. should be keep outside the library.
- Readers are advised not to leave their valuable items like money, passport, credit card etc. inside the library.
- Don’t make any other Marking, scratching, damaging, mutilating and stealing on library furniture.
- Readers should not carry books outside from reading hall.
- Readers should not talk or discuss as they may disturb other readers. Reading halls are meant for individual study and research only.
- Users should not rest or keep their feet on tables, chairs, shelves, etc.
- The library shall not be responsible for any loss or damage of the personal belongings of the users.
- Library staff shall not transmit telephone calls or other personal messages to the readers.
- The Librarian reserves the right to suspend the membership of any member found misbehaving with the library staff or with any other member.
- Readers should register themselves into ‘OPAC’ before entering the library.
- Book transaction will be done During 09.00 am to 04.00 pm on all working days.
- If library book is lost/damaged by reader, then its fine will be collected from the concerned reader.
- All books will be issued weekly in the periodical manner.
- Do not mark on, fold or tear book pages. If found, punishment will be made for such activity.
- Photo copying of library Material without permissions Strictly Prohibited.
- Strict silence shall be observed in the library reading room.
- Books issued from the library will not be collected back on the same day
These rules are subject to revision/updation from time to time without assigning any reason.
